Ron and Teri Irish started S.T.O.P. Alarm in 1979, when we installed our first major security system in Porterville. With over 35 years in the security industry Ron has installed fire alarms and security systems from Truckee to San Diego.

S.T.O.P.'s mission is to maximize the productivity of our customer's security system by minimizing equipment failure through quality installations, programs of preventive maintenance and rapid, high quality service when needed.

We're a local family-owned and operated business, dedicated to providing our customers with the highest quality service. Our staff of 11 employees helps us serve over 2000 customers, both locally and as far away as San Diego, Santa Maria and Truckee. While we don't solicit distanced installations, existing local customers often request us to protect their vacation homes and homes of their family members in other cities.
